I was hospitalized for 7 days last week due to my knee surgery. Even not feeling well but I am so happy to spend the time with my family. We had our times for pizza together, and I was so happy for that, at least it has reduced my pains.

Thanks for M for accompanying me during my time in the  Ampang Putri, Kuala Lumpur.

Audit Committee Meeting for Quarter 3 Results-July 30,2010

Transactional Model of CommunicationImage via Wikipedia
As usual, every beginning of each quarter, we gonna have an audit committee meeting (ACOM). I'm gonna be the one who is totally busy for preparing the internal audit report for this meeting. What's a busy day for that! I have gone thru all the paper and everything like hell. And tomorrow the time is here again. I have to wear "kalis peluru" jacket to protect myself from being a victim. hahaha!!

I have another 3 papers to present for this ACOM which consist of :

1. Audit on Application Development

3. Follow up  Audit on VSAT for SKG

From 3 above, Sales & Marketing Audit is the most critical part. What can I expect when the thing is not in the orderly manner? There is a significant variance when it comes to comparing the annual sales versus the actual sales. No proper planning and no sales compensation scheme/plan for motivating salespeople to derive more and more sales into the company.

I am going to disclose all the weaknesses with regard to sales and marketing activities as well as to add value or make good recommendation for improvement. Well, so many things to do to improve the loop hole. What can I say.. leadership style, a communication skill of the high level management have also to be improved. Don't expect when you are in the high position, you can simply instruct, and at the same time you can expect other people can follow your instruction! Everybody has an equal right to express his/her dissatisfaction and everybody has to be respected. Without leadership style and communication skills, nobody can be your follower.

Frankly speaking, once you have jumped yourself into an accounting industry, you have so many options in your career development in whatever up and down in the market place.  The opportunities are always in your side no matter the world having a recession. Every company needs accounting people to manage their business transactions. Every month they need to know the performance of the company. These only can be shown by generating of complete sets of accounting statement known as Balance Sheet and Statement of Incomes.

By having a proper accounting system, every company can easily have sales analysis, cost analysis and whatever analysis they want in order to ensure their business are well monitoring.
